Our Flatpack Special had high dives, young and old, solace, Chris-based comedy, a fish with legs, loneliness, sea shanty pop, a lego epic, a Lynchian frog detective, Japanese cat,-flu and xenophobia.
The prompt was 'Fire', so Louis was strapped into a soon an unwheildy jetpack. Did many people use the Fire prompt? Nope and that's fine.
Thanks to TV Paint we also had a license to raffle!
Jon Frickey joined us from Germany to show 'Cat Days', A story about a boy who is diagnosed with feline flu and wonders if he will turn into a cat. The film won a ton of Oscar qualifying festival awards.

Joseph Wallace was our special guest. Joseph is a stop-motion director whose work combines his background in theatre with a love of Eastern European animation. The result is a hand-crafted yet cinematic style that bares a sensitive spirit. He’s won awards, Vimeo Staff Picks and screened at festivals around the world.
Joseph showed us the dedication that went into making, 'Salvation Has No Name'. A film that explores themes of xenophobia and the refugee crisis using a troupe of unreliable narrators.
The film is Joseph's most ambitious project to date. After a 6 year battle to complete the film, it received the Jury Special Mention at Cannes and, was long-listed for a BIFA and BAFTA. Unfortunately the themes have become ever increasingly relevant, but more the reason to watch it.
