We had Mutoscopes, low-poly Brum, Little Monsters, Big Boys, a millionaire’s skateramp basement, and an awkward fantasy cold caller. Louis was also dressed was Billybud from our featured film.

BAFTA-winning Nina Gantz was our special guest. Her latest short WANDER TO WONDER follows three 1980s children’s TV characters as they fend for themselves in the aftermath of their creator dying.

Nina pulled out the stops in showing us the inspiring 8 year perseverance it took to get Wander To Wander made. We had a bonus appearance from composer Terence Dunn. We also got to see some puppets from the film up close.

Shortly after this the film went onto win a BAFTA and got robbed at the Oscars!

James Wilkinson donated some Mini Mutoscopes as prizes. We also have some shiny new stickers (ooooh).

Thanks to Poonam Maher, Max Priddy, Thomas Pitts and Jessica Fisher, Freddie Fawke and Kai Doling for their help with running the event smoothly. Thanks to Second Home Studios, Ministry Of Motion  and Yamination for the recontinued sponsorship.

We had some disgruntled microbes, emotional poems, meditative sci-fi, a well used stop motion horse, and some big laughs.

Louis was dressed as a deer. Pull the cord and the eyes pinged out to make a 'No Eye-deer'.

Our special guests were Tom and Henry Purrington from Golden Wolf who showed us how they wiggled their way into the industry, a timeline of their projects and their tips to being seen.

We had some noisy horn trophies for our regular Show&Tellers, an Annecy-selected short, an Annecy-rejected short, two Aardman Academy graduates, and three Floaters.

Louis tried to make a horn be loud, but also made it cry. The ordeal left him with a really long arm, for crying out loud.

Our special guest was composer, sound designer and voice artist, Phil Brookes. Phil took us on a rollercoaster journey of his career with be-masked metal solos, mindful piano scores, and a whiplash inspirational talk. Phil’s clients include Anna Mantzaris, Greenpeace, Facebook, Ted, Tate, Hulu, Adult Swim.

Thanks to Poonam Maher for literally lending a hand. Thanks to Max Priddy, Thomas Pitts and Jessica Fisher for their help again (and to Alex Jolliffe for cycling home to get a power cable)

And thanks to Second Home Studios and Ministry Of Motion for the sponsorship.
